What if you had to turn an aggressive fungal infestation into a factory?
SporeBlock is a StoneBlock modpack where you will grow and control a hostile infection in order to gather resources and progress through the pack and eventually build a fully automated Create system to keep it under control and extract resources from it.
This modpack is made with custom recipes and a custom behavior of the Fungal Infection: Spore mod: progression is tied to how advanced the infestation is, and your capacity to keep it under control. Custom advancements alongside a guide book is also included in this modpack to guide you through everything you need to know!
This pack was made for the Big Autumn Packjam, and won! You can join the BAP discord by clicking the badge below:
Big thanks to the people from the Modpack Dev Discord for being so helpful! This is my first modpack, and it would definitively not have been possible to make without the help i've gotten there. Shoutouts to @auseawesome for the texture of the Stripped Decayed Log, and to this datapack which i used to make the worldgen. Power Screenshot was used to make the main menu panorama. Of course, huge shoutouts to the devs of the mods included in this modpack too! In particular, the soundtrack is from the Fungal Infection: Spore mod itself, and you can find their official playlist here.
Feel free to report any issue or feedback here. You can also find me in the Big Autumn Packjam discord.
Rate this modpack on moddex! Feedback is super helpful!
Future Plans
-What you can expect for the near future is mostly small improvements and additions: bug fixes, QoL things, improvements of the in-game documentations, etc. I'm open to feedback to help me improve this modpack.-Fungal Infection: Spore is expected to release a massive update around Christmas, which will allow the infection to evolve beyond the Proto-Hivemind. We don't know much about what this update will contain yet, but I do plan to integrate this into Sporeblock, if this turns out to be possible.
